New locations

I’m looking forward to sorting dates for next year and have a couple of new ideas I’d like to try.

Firstly, I’d like to introduce a couple of sessions based in Yorkshire. One may be based in the North Yorkshire moors, where there are the vast open spaces of the moors, varied costal locations and buildings from historic houses to ruined monasteries.

Then some steam railway weekends. Potentially one day in North Yorkshire with the York railway museum and North Yorkshire railway from Pickering. Then the next day in West Yorkshire where there are three railways in easy reach of each other.

There are some good locations in West Yorkshire if you fancy sculpture as well as landscape photography. We have spent some time at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which has an ever changing variety of outdoor exhibits placed in a magnificent sculpture park. Also there is the possibility of going to the new Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield, here a number of the galleries permit photography and it’s great when wet outside.
