Dunstanburgh Castle

Dunstanburgh Castle
The small but perfectly formed fishing village of Craster is the starting point for the castle.
It is a ½ mile walk to the near by Dunstanbrough Castle (English Heritage) this building is perched on dramatic cliff tops. It has suffered over the years and is far from complete but in my opinion this only serves to make it more attractive. Again, like Bamburgh, the views of the castle vary with the tide, it calls out for long exposures and moving water. There are some potentially good shots of this castle contrasting with some World War two pill boxes.
